Yoga for a Cause – Charity Event for Ahimsa Animal Care in Rishikesh, India
Dear FriendsI am personally orgainsing a fundraising event for a special lady in Rishikesh, India who looks after the street animals there.Grace, is truly an amazing person, who has now devoted her life to caring for these sick and neglected animals.
The work is incredibly hard, stressful and draining. I have attached some photos of the animals Grace has helped. I hope not to upset you, but to show you the harsh reality of why we need to help Grace continue her work.
As Grace does this full time, she does not have an income and has run out of her own funds, as she has been there for about four years now.“Yoga for a Cause”, there will be two Kundalini Yoga classes at Bondi Pavillion on Sunday, 31st October. On the day, we will have a raffle for donated goods. I was wondering if you could donate something of value we could raffle and your logo will be displayed on the flyer?Or maybe you know someone? If so, could you please forward them this email?Feel free to contact me on 0417 660 793 for more information or check out our Facebook site “Ahimsa Animal Care in Rishikesh”.
Thank youNeaPS: Ahimsa is a Sanskrit word meaning non-injury, entire abstinence from causing any pain or harm whatsoever to any living creature, either by thought, word, or deed. Non-injury requires a harmless mind, mouth, and hand.,
